Second Liberation class to meet for their last of four
seminars, The Promise of Leadership - Jan18-22, 2010
The second class of Africa Leadership Initiative East Africa Fellows
(self-named the Second Liberation class ) will meet for their last of four
seminars, The Promise of Leadership from January 18-22, 2010 at the
Neptune Pwani Beach Resort on the island of Zanzibar.
The most introspective of the leadership seminars, Fellows explore the
nature of humanity, good and evil, and their leadership with respect to
them. Although they will be completing the formal program, members of the
Second Liberation class will continue on their journey from “success to
significance” as part of the worldwide community of leaders in the Aspen
Global Leadership Network (AGLN). The AGLN is a growing, global community
of entrepreneurial leaders from business, government and the nonprofit
sector -- currently, 950 "Fellows" from 43 countries -- who share a
commitment to enlightened leadership and to using their extraordinary
creativity, energy and resources to tackle the foremost societal
challenges of our times.
